Payson, Arizona • Est. 1982
A quiet, full-hookup RV park and private cabin nestled among 80-year-old pines at 5,200 feet—where the air is cooler, the stars are closer, and the only schedule is sunrise to stars.
Shady Haven RV Park began as a family dream: to share the peace of the Sierra Vista Highlands with travelers who value stillness over spectacle. Located just minutes from downtown Payson, our 12-acre property sits beneath a canopy of ponderosa and limber pines that have shaded campers since long before the asphalt arrived.
Whether you’re passing through on the way to Canyon Lake, settling in for a week of forest hiking, or simply need a place to call home between adventures—we’ve kept things simple, honest, and deeply rooted in this corner of northern Arizona.
30/50-amp electric, water, and sewer at every site. Pull-through and back-in options for rigs of all sizes.
A standalone cabin retreat tucked at the edge of the pines—perfect for guests without an RV or a cozy overnight stay.
Well-maintained restrooms, hot showers, and a laundry room. We take pride in keeping everything spotless.
Complimentary Wi-Fi for remote work or planning your next hike. Each site includes a stone fire ring under the pines.
We recommend calling ahead, especially during peak season—July through September fills quickly as visitors escape the desert heat. Long-term stays are welcome, and we offer discounted monthly rates for extended visitors.
